Eniram Appoints Philip Padfield as New Group CEO

New Organizational Structure Designed to Support the Next Phase of Growth and Internationalization

Helsinki, Finland – September 1, 2009 – Eniram Ltd., provider of dynamic decision support systems for the shipping industry, today announced the appointment of Mr. Philip Padfield as the CEO of Eniram Group. Eniram Group is the parent for Eniram’s country organizations - currently in Finland, Norway and the United States, and expanding into continental Europe and Asia.

Eniram Group will concentrate on executing Eniram’s global growth strategy, including the strengthening of sales and evaluating new markets. The initial focus will be on expanding the installed base of the flagship product Dynamic Trimming Assistant (DTA), the innovative software system that helps vessel officers dynamically optimize trim, minimizing water resistance, decreasing fuel consumption, and reducing emissions.

Philip Padfield has a 22-year track record in executive management, sales and marketing, and corporate development roles in the international software market. He has previously held CEO positions in Fluency Voice Technology and CDC Solutions, successfully growing the companies’ revenues and expanding their geographic reach. He was educated at Royal Holloway College, London University, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and Henley Business School.

“Eniram has attained global promise as a provider of breakthrough decision support systems for the maritime industry,” said Mr. Pekka Roine, Chairman of Eniram. The increased requirements for maritime fuel efficiency and reduced emissions mandate that all shipping companies refresh their efforts in these globally sensitive areas. Eniram truly can help, and I am delighted to welcome Philip to lead the group to all global markets.”

“Eniram’s proposition to save fuel while cutting emissions is clearly appealing, and the timing couldn’t be better,” said Mr. Philip Padfield, newly appointed CEO of Eniram Group. “I’m especially impressed by the easy deployability of the Eniram DTA at any stage of a vessel’s lifecycle, giving the shipping companies an express route to improve the efficiency and performance of their entire fleet. I’m very much looking forward to help expand Eniram’s presence in the international maritime markets.”

“Philip’s experience and expertise are exactly what is needed to take Eniram’s business to the next level,” said Mr. Henrik Dahl, Co-founder and Managing Director of Eniram Ltd in Finland. “Having grown the company from a R&D laboratory to a multi-country organization with a number of high-profile clients in the international cruise industry, I’m excited to welcome Philip with his significant international experience to head and optimize Eniram Group.”

Eniram’s decision support systems are designed by a team of marine system experts, software architects, programmers, naval architects and captains creating a unique combination of expertise. The Eniram DTA dynamically retrieves and analyses data of the prevailing trim, propulsion power and the use of stabilizers on seagoing vessels. The system combines the data with current conditions such as waves, wind and speed, and determines the optimal trim for each situation.

By bringing real-time data of the vessel attitude to ship’s officers in an easy-to-read graphic form, the system facilitates faster and better-informed decision-making and allows timely action in changing circumstances. In fleet-wide use, the system can be extended to provide shipping companies with compounded vessel performance data for more efficient fleet management.

Eniram introduced the Dynamic Trimming Assistant (DTA) to the global maritime market in July 2008. Since then, the Finland-based Eniram has established subsidiaries in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA and Oslo, Norway.
