Verkkokauppa- ja sisällönhallintayritys EPiServer houkutteli ison sijoituksen yhdysvaltalaiselta sijoitusyhtiöltä

Pohjoismainen teknologiayhtiö EPiServer on saanut merkittävän sijoituksen yhdysvaltalaiselta pääomasijoittajayhtiöltä Accel-KKR:ltä. Sijoituksen myötä EPiServerin osake-enemmistö siirtyy Accel-KKR:n omistukseen.

EPiServer on Ruotsissa päämajaansa pitävä sisällönhallinta-, digimarkkinointi- ja verkkokaupparatkaisuiden ja -järjestelmien tarjoaja. Etenkin verkkokaupparatkaisujen markkinat ovat vahvassa nousussa ja vuonna 1994 perustettu yritys on kasvanut viime vuodet noin 30 prosentin vuositahtia.

Accel-KKR:n mukaan EPiServerillä on erinomainen potentiaali skaalautua isommaksi ja parantaa asemaansa digimarkkinoinnin ja verkkokaupan teknologiaratkaisujen tarjoajana. Uuden omistajan myötä EPiServer vauhdittaa sekä liiketoiminnan että markkinaosuuden kasvua.

Accel-KKR on ohjelmisto- ja IT-yrityksiin keskittynyt pitkän linjan pääomasijoitusyhtiö. Osana portfoliota EPiServer pääsee hyödyntämään sijoitusyhtiön laajaa asiantuntemusta ja verkostoa.
