ICCO Global Awards 2025: Netprofile Is the World’s Best Mid-Size Consultancy of the Year

Netprofilen perustajat Christina Forsgärd ja Juha Frey vastaanottivat palkinnon ICCO-gaalassa.

Netprofile has received the award for the world’s best communications agency in the mid-sized agency category at the ICCO Global Awards. This is reportedly the first time a Finnish agency has received this honor.

The ICCO Global Awards were presented at the ICCO Global Summit in Mumbai on November 12, 2025. The international communications umbrella group organizes the competition. Its jury is comprised of the highest level of global marketing communications professionals. Many leading communications agencies and agency chains take part in the event.

“A communications professional is rarely left speechless. Receiving the award for Mid-Size Consultancy of the Year gave me pause to reflect on our journey. Years of determined work and a tightly focused strategy are behind this success. Our aim is to lead communications and marketing in the industrial and technology sectors,” says Juha Frey, CEO of Netprofile.

The ICCO Global Awards 2025 award is a continuation of Netprofile’s long series of international competition successes. In addition to the ICCO Global Awards, Netprofile has won dozens of awards and been a finalist in competitions such as the Sabre Awards, the European Excellence Awards, and the Digital Communications Awards.

“Communications and marketing become a strategic lever for business when business strategy-level expertise is paired with a deep understanding of the target market. This mix of expertise can only be built in a consulting firm by focusing efforts. Netprofile’s core is promoting business in the industrial and technology sectors through building trust and fostering a strong reputation,” says Frey.

“What matters is that we always focus on the client’s business benefits with relentless work. Competitive success follows as a by-product. Awards come from customer focus, not the other way around.”

In Finland, Netprofile is among the most successful agencies in the history of the Finnish Comms Awards. In 2025, Netprofile participated only in the Strategy and Communications Consulting category, which has an emphasis on strategic advisory. The agency secured five finalist spots and two wins: for building expert visibility with Visma Finland and for crisis communication and preparedness with Visma Solutions.

Netprofile has achieved its position as a trusted partner through steadfast industry focus and expertise in strategic, tactical, and operational communication, marketing, and crisis communication for industrial and technology companies.

“A bold vision, desire, and the ability to create value for our customers in the long term. That is the recipe for our 25-year success,” says Christina Forsgård, the agency’s co-founder. “Netprofile was born from the idea that Finnish technological excellence can grow into impactful force on a global scale. We have received this award because we do not do whatever for whoever but create significant value at essential crossing points between industry and technology and society and by influencing stakeholders.”

“A deep understanding of technology and its transformative power made us the best in the world. It will make us even stronger tomorrow.”

ICCO, organizer of the Global Awards, is an international umbrella for the communications industry. Its members, spanning over 3,000 agencies in 80+ countries, collaborate to set global standards, ensure ethics, and align advisory practices.
