Netprofile named Agency of the Year with five top honors at Finnish Comms Awards

Netprofile was named Agency of the Year at the 2026 Finnish Comms Awards. The agency also took home three category awards for its business-focused advice. Janina Javanainen from Netprofile received the Young Talent special award.
Netprofile was a finalist in seven categories. The winning projects were collaborations with clients DNA, Coinmotion, and Netvisor.
The Agency of the Year award was the evening’s highlight. It reflects years of focus on quality and curiosity. The jury praised Netprofile’s ongoing, internationally recognized communications expertise, which combines strong technology knowledge, responsibility, and a drive for continuous improvement.
“We want to do excellent work for our clients,” says Christina Forsgård, founder of Netprofile. “We also want to show how technology-intensive industries shape the future. Our ethos is to raise the standing of Finnish communications expertise abroad. We have boldly sought international recognition for communications and advocacy in complex technology. Recognition has come through many awards at the highest level.”
At Netprofile, curiosity is part of the culture that encourages everyone to share their knowledge. Janina Javanainen’s Young Talent award echoes this approach.
“I don’t feel I won this award alone,” says Javanainen. “It goes to the whole Netprofile team and the people I have worked with for years. I am grateful for all I have learned from them. I use those lessons to accelerate our clients’ business.”
“At Netprofile, we are curious and bold,” Javanainen adds. “My thanks to the community that helps people grow and succeed.”
“Like all the best communicators, Janina speaks the language of business leadership,” says Juha Frey, CEO of Netprofile. “Her work stands out in three areas. She applies research, advances our use of AI, and ties communications to strategic business goals. Just as important, she is a colleague who brings positive energy to everyone around her.”
Creativity and strategic insight drive the wins
Johtoajatuksia, a podcast produced for DNA, won the top award in its category. The jury called the concept insightful and well executed. The podcast reached a focused, hard-to-engage audience.
“The production rested on precise audience insight and a strong content strategy,” says Maisa Enqvist, Director of Marketing Services and Partner at Netprofile. “We built Johtoajatuksia as a tool for thought leadership and relationship building. Insightful content drew a critical audience into the concept. Quality, results and impact guided every choice.”
For the Strategic External Communications award, the jury chose Netprofile’s work with Coinmotion, a crypto investment service. The program used thought leadership to build both reputation and business. The jury saw this as proof of what persistence and strategic communications can accomplish, especially in very challenging circumstances.
“A carefully built reputation strategy and persistent work have been rewarded,” says Jirimiko Oranen, Partner and Head of Strategy at Netprofile. “Our partnership is a textbook case of strategic communications and thought leadership. Crypto investing has faced the same sort of doubts as credit cards did at launch. Together with Coinmotion, we set out to dispel those fears. The results show we succeeded.”
In the category of Public Affairs and Advocacy, the top award went to the Talouspulssi study with Netvisor. The study brought real information about Finnish businesses into the economic debate. It turned data into news and helped make Netvisor a clear voice in economic discussions.
The jury described the project as insightful communications. They saw a socially important opportunity in the way the company used its own data.
“A fast-changing environment can confuse citizens and businesses alike,” says Christina Forsgård. “Data on how companies are really doing must reach national debate and decision-making faster.”
“Netvisor understands its central role in the Finnish economy. They chose to produce valuable economic insight for society and decisionmakers. Together, we wanted to promote a fact-based debate on the national economy. Success came from careful planning, a broad mix of communications activities and uncompromising execution.”
The Finnish Comms Awards is the most important annual competition in Finnish communications. It celebrates the most effective work by agencies and their clients. The event brings together the sector’s top talent each year. It has become a major source of shared professional pride and community. This year, the jury shortlisted 82 entries from 159 submissions by 23 agencies.
